PARIS, June 02, SPA -- French President Nicolas Sarkozy's officesays he will visit Lebanon on Saturday to meet the newLebanese president, the Associated Press reported. Sarkozy's office says he will meet Lebanese PresidentMichel Suleiman in Beirut and visit French troops in theU.N. peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon. Sarkozy's office said in a statement Monday that he willstress France's support for Lebanon and its independence.
