Beirut, March 31, SPA -- Fuad Al-Saniorah, Prime Minister of Lebanon, received here today the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohyeddin Khoja. During the audience, the overall current political developments in Lebanon in addition to bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon and ways of enhancing them were discussed. In a statement to the press following the meeting, Khoja said Saudi Arabia was confident of the ability of Lebanese leaders and politicians to soon overcome the current crisis. In response to a question whether Saudi Arabia launches a new post-summit endeavor, the Ambassador said the Arab initiative is the basis, hoping that the Arab League, led by its Secretary General Amr Mousa, would soon continue its strenuous efforts to put the initiative into effect. He urged Lebanese rivals to show reason and pragmatism when Mousa is back to Beirut to meet them on the Lebanese issue.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/541759
