ISLAMABAD, JANUARY 31, SPA -- Caretaker Interior Minister Lt-Gen (retd) Hamid Nawaz Khan has urged all political parties to cooperate with the government for peaceful conduct of forthcoming general elections. "The government is fully geared up to maintaining law and order during the national elections so that people are able to cast their votes in a peaceful atmosphere," he told reporters. The minister said the government is committed to holding free, fair and transparent election.
