Nairobi, January 22, SPA -- Former United Nations secretary general Kofi Annanarrived to Kenya Tuesday night, promising to bring a solution to thepolitical stalemate that has rocked the East African nation andtriggered violence countrywide, according to DPA. Annan is set to meet President Mwai Kibaki and defeatedpresidential candidate Raila Odinga Wednesday to kickstart talksbetween the two, after previous mediation efforts failed to resolvethe conflict over disputed elections. "We have not come with a solution. We are here to insist on asolution for the sake of Kenya and its people and for the sake ofAfrica," Annan told reporters.
