On his part, King Abdullah expressed appreciation for the warm welcome given to him by the Italian officials, and said that warm welcome embodies the existing friendly relations between Saudi Arabia and Italy. King Abdullah noted that Italy had played an important role in the history, and said undoubtedly the Roman heritage has had a great impact on the modern Europe.
