SULAIMANIYAH, Iraq, September 20, SPA -- U.S. troops on Thursday raided a hotel in a northern Iraq town and detained three Iranians, two of them said to be government officials from theneighboring country's border area, a Kurdish official inIraq said. The morning raid by American forces took place at theSulaimaniyah Palace Hotel in the center of Sulaimaniyah,260 kilometers (160 miles) northeast of Baghdad, accordingto an official of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, or PUK.
