Islamabad, September 30, SPA -- Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Riaz Muhammad Khan will meet US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte in Washington on Monday (September 31) and other senior US officials to discuss further strengthening broad-based relationship between the two countries, officials said. Khan and Negroponte, who earlier this month headed their respective countries in the second round of strategic partnership dialogue in Islamabad, will hold follow-up discussions on consolidating ties in wide-ranging sectors including education, science and technology, energy and economic cooperation. The two sides are also likely to exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest.
