KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, December 13, SPA -- A civilian car hit a freshly planted land mine in southern Afghanistan on Thursday, killing six people and wounding six others, officials said. The blast ripped through the car as it traveled on a roadoutside the town of Tirin Kot, in Uruzgan province, aministry statement was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. «This mine was possibly planted by the enemy,» it said.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/508960
