3 London Gordon Brown stressed that the Arab peace initiative remains an important framework for a just and lasting peace. He commended the role of the Kingdom and its efforts at reconciliation for a number of regional issues such as the situation in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine and developments of the Iranian nuclear issue. He said "We have benefited most from Saudi Arabia's viewpoints and initiatives in this respect. We consider very significant, the existing strong working relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on these issues."
