ANKARA, Turkey, May 12, SPA -- Iraqi Kurdish officials say TurkishJets have struck Kurdish rebel positions close to theborder in northern Iraq. The Web site of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan saysTurkish warplanes bombed several border areas near thetowns Neroye, Rekan and Dahuk in northern Iraq on Sundaynight. There was no immediate confirmation from the Turkishmilitary, the Associated Press reported.
