As regards Saudi detainees in Iraq and the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to extradite them, Prince Naif said "we are very keen to extradite them. Moreover, we have agreed with Iraqi side that Saudi and Iraqi Officials will meet at the earliest time possible for this purpose." He pointed out that the Saudi Ministry of Interior doesn't know exactly the number of Saudi detainees in Iraq. "I think that even the Iraqi Interior Ministry doesn't know about all detained Saudis in Iraq." With respect to his meeting with Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Pur-Mohammadi on the side-line of the (Kuwait) conference, Prince Naif noted that the meeting discussed security cooperation as per agreements and covered our prolonged talks over the past years between us. "As Iran is a neighboring country of Afghanistan and Iraq, we have reviewed cooperation between us, particularly in the arena of combating terrorism in its expansive form.
