QUETTA, Pakistan, September 05, SPA -- Gunmen ambushed a vehicle carrying paramilitary soldiers in southwestern Pakistan onWednesday, killing at least two of them and one passer-bybefore fleeing, police said. The attack happened in Quetta, the capital of southwesternBaluchistan province where tribesmen have waged a low-levelinsurgency to gain more wealth for natural resourcesextracted from their areas, said Rahu Khan Brohi, an areapolice chief. He said only two soldiers were aboard the vehicle at thetime, and that they died at the scene.
