Prince Saud reiterated the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the unity of Iraq, and said the idea of partition of Iraq will cause durable dispute in Iraq and the neighboring countries, and will pave the way for more bloodshed. Meanwhile, Prince Saud said the events of September 11 were of disastrous nature. He added that the Kingdom, which had suffered from terrorism, has been doing its best to confront terrorism. On the conference due to be held next November to discuss the peace process in the Middle East, Prince Saud said official invitations have not yet been extended to attend the meeting, and the details of the conference are still under study.
