BAGHDAD, Iraq, June 25, SPA -- A suicide car bomber detonated explosives at a Hilla government compound Monday morning, killing at least eight people and wounding 31 others, a Hilla official told CNN. Among the dead were civilians and security guards, authorities said. The attack took place around 7 a.m. (11 p.m. ET Sunday).
