Stockholm, Nov 21, SPA -- Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt was slatedto attend a Middle East peace conference hosted by the US next week, dpa quoted the soruces of the Swedish Foreign Ministry as saying Wednesday. In a statement, Bildt said the invitation to the November 27meeting in Annapolis, Maryland was "a recognition of our involvementin these issues recently." Bildt last week had a meeting with US Secretary of StateCondoleezza Rice in Washington where they discussed developments inthe Middle East. The Annapolis peace conference aims at laying the groundwork for aresolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
