Washington, October 02, SPA -- US President George W. Bush and French President Nicolas Sarkozy are expected to hold talks on issues such as Iran’s controversial nuclear program next month in Washington, a senior U.S. official said Monday. The visit is Sarkozy’s first official trip to Washington since taking office. “He is likely to visit in November,” the U.S. official told reporters on condition of anonymity because Sarkozy’s trip has not been formally announced. The meeting with Bush would occur “in Washington,” the official said.The two leaders met in August in the casual setting of the Bush family estate in Maine.
