ISLAMABAD, OCTOBER 2, SPA -- Pakistan Foreign Secretary Riaz Muhammad Khan and US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte have discussed further bolstering Pakistan-US relations under strategic partnership between the two allies. Khan met Negroponte in Washington, state-run Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported. They discussed cooperation in wide-ranging areas including education, science and technology, energy and economy. "It was a good meeting," Khan said after the meeting. The two sides will hold the next session of strategic partnership dialogue after six months. Pakistan and the United States affirmed strategic partnership in March 2006 after talks between President Pervez Musharraf and President George Bush in Islamabad.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/487473
