New Delhi, Aug 15, SPA -- US President George W. Bush last night called up Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and reviewed the status of Indo-US civil nuclear deal, The Press Trust of India reported. During the telephonic conversation, Bush and Singh also reviewed other aspects of the bilateral relations, the External Affairs Ministry said in a statement in New Delhi. They expressed satisfaction at the "mutually beneficial" and cordial nature of relations currently existing between the two leaders, it said. Bush conveyed the greetings of the government and people of the US on the 60th anniversary of India's independence. While thanking Bush, Singh said India was well on the way to fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of its founding fathers and its people.
