ISLAMABAD, JULY 11, SPA -- The United States has handed over to Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Two F-16 planes, thus starting the long-awaited delivery of Fighter Falcons. A formal handing over ceremony was held at the PAF base Sargodha where Two F-16s, directly flown from the United States, landed, said an official statement. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mehmood Ahmed, US Ambassador to Pakistan Anne W. Peterson, and a large number of senior PAF officers were present to witness the ceremony. Commander Central Air Command US Air Force Lt. Gen Gary L. North along with his another colleague flew the aircraft and reached Sargodha after a continuous flight of over 8 hours all across the Atlantic.
