ISLAMABAD, DEC 17, SPA -- The printing of ballot papers for the Jan 8 parliamentary polls started on Monday to complete on January 5, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Secretary Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad Sunday said. He told the reporters that the names of candidates would be printed on ballot papers alphabetically along with their respective election symbols. Transparent ballot boxes are in the custody of provincial election commissioners, deputy election commissioners and assistant election commissioners, Dilshad said. He said the Returning Officers are preparing lists of polling stations and finalising polling schemes. The sending of election material to concerned officials has been initiated.
