Washington, December 04, SPA -- U.S. President George W. Bush met with the Minister of Youth for the Palestinians on Monday. Bush was joined by Minister Abu Daqqa in an effort to encourage those that “are committed to a public-private partnership to help the Palestinian government provide hope,” the U.S. President said. The minister’s program aims to help Palestinians develop youth centers, where the country’s youth can develop new technical skills, language skills, and receive mentoring. The program is “aimed at saying there is a hopeful future; a future where peace is possible,” Bush said. Bush also thanked the minister for her “commitment to living side by side with Israel in peace… [and] to help this [Palestine’s] young democracy get up on its feet and eventually lead to peace that we all are so hopeful for.” --SPA www.spa.gov.sa/505980
