Amman, October 20, SPA -- A Saudi delegation to the consultative meeting of the members of the league of Senates and Shoura and the similar Councils in Africa and the Arab countries arrived here today. The meeting will begin tomorrow in the presence of delegations representing the Councils of Shoura and Senate in 14 Arab and African countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi delegation comprises members of the Shoura Council Abdulrahman Al-Suweilim, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Arafa and a number of advisers at the Shoura Council. The meeting will discuss five working papers on the challenges facing the third world and the role of education and democracy in realizing development and political, economic and social stability.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/491796
