NABLUS, West Bank, September 18, SPA -- One Palestinian youth was killed Tuesday when Israeli troops raided a West Bank refugee camp before dawn, Palestinian residents said. More than 20 armored jeeps were met with gunfire when theyentered the hilly Ein Beit Ilmeh camp in the center ofNablus. The Israeli army said troops were involved in exchanges offire and encountered stone-throwing riots in their searchfor militants, the Associated Press reported. Palestinian residents said one armed youth, 17, was killed in the shooting. Palestinian witnesses said some Israeli soldiers werewounded in an explosion.
