KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Aug 18, SPA -- A suicide car bomberdetonated near a convoy of private security forces Saturdayin southern Afghanistan, killing four Afghan guards and 11civilians, including three women and two children, policesaid. The bomb went off west of Kandahar city and also woundedsix other guards as well as 20 civilians who were in twominivans passing by the convoy, said Kandahar provincialpolice chief Syed Agha Saqib.
