Cairo, July 31, SPA -- Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak received today in Sharm el-Sheikh city, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz, the deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. The reception was attended by Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Mohamed Nazif and Minister of Defense Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi. The Saudi Side at the reception was comprised of Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Hisham Nazer. After the reception, the Crown Prince and the Egyptian President held a closed-door meeting in which they discussed a number of issues including the current developments in the Arab and Islamic Arenas, especially the Palestinian Cause and the current situation in Iraq. After the closed-door meeting, the Egyptian President held a Luncheon in honor of the Crown Prince. The Luncheon was attended by the Senior Saudi and Egyptian officials.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/471724
