ISLAMABAD, May 13, SPA -- Pakistani security forces and Afghan army soldiers exchanged gunfire at the borderbetween the two countries Sunday, leaving at least fiveAfghan troops dead, a Pakistani military official said. Afghan National Army troops opened «unprovoked» fire at Pakistani border posts in Kurram Agency, a Pakistani tribal region bordering Afghanistan, said Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad, the top spokesman for the Pakistan army. Troops from Pakistan's Frontier Corps returned fire,triggering a gun battle with the Afghan forces, Arshad said.
