Beirut, March 29, SPA - Lebanese newspapers today highlighted the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's invitation to Arab Kings, Emirs and Presidents to attend the 19th Arab summit in Riyadh and their positive responses to it. The papers noted that the summit was called 'Solidarity Summit' where Arab leaders met yesterday in an open session and another closed-one during which they had deliberations on the region's rising crises. The press also shed light on King Abdullah's speech at the opening session in which he blamed Arab leaders in general for the failures of the Arab nation, notably in Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon, and in which he called for the settlement of the crisis as soon as possible, since Lebanon became paralyzed after it was an example in co-existence and prosperity. The press, meanwhile, featured the endorsement of Riyadh's declaration 'without amendments and the assertion of solidarity with Lebanon to get out from its bottleneck crisis,' in addition to the absolute support for the Arab peace initiative without any amendments.-- SPA www.spa.gov.sa/436580
