WASHINGTON, JAN 28, SPA -- Tens of thousands of demonstrators from across the country converged in Washington yesterday to urge the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq as President George W. Bush is proposing to send more troops in an effort to stabilize the country. They rallied on the Washington Mall, marched around the north side of the Capitol in order to send a strong message to the government.
