PESHAWAR, Pakistan, April 7, SPA -- Gunmen opened fire on Muslims in a remote town in northwestern Pakistan, sparking sectarian gun battles thatleft at least 10 people dead and 83 wounded, officials saidSaturday. The trouble began Friday when unidentified people began shooting near a mosque in Parachinar, about250 kilometers (150 miles) southwest of Peshawar, thecapital of North West Frontier province borderingAfghanistan.
