ISLAMABAD, JULY 29, SPA -- Pakistan is determined to counter terrorism and eliminate extremism, Pakistan's Ambassador to the United Nations Munir Akram said. Akram told BBC's "The World Tonight" news programme that it was the battle for the soul of Pakistan, indeed the soul of Islamic World. " We have to win it and we are determined to do so." The ambassador said that all political parties are with President Pervez Musharraf in the campaign against extremism and terrorism.
