The British defense delegation also met Defense Secretary Kamran Rasool and discussed the areas of common interest. They exchanged views on the geo-strategic situation of the region with special reference to Afghanistan. Rasool told the UK defense delegation that Pakistan was committed to promoting peace and stability in Afghanistan. He said that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan was not only in the interest of the region but also in the interest of the whole world.
