LONDON, JUNE 8, SPA -- Britain urged any of its citizens living inthree Nigerian delta provinces to leave, according to aforeign ministry statement Friday. Some 200 foreigners have been seized in the restive NigerDelta of Africa's biggest oil producer since militantsstepped up attacks in late 2005. More than 100 have beentaken this year alone as criminal gangs took up thepractice, REPORTED AP. «We advise that the security situation in Bayelsa, Deltaand Rivers states makes them unsafe for Britishnationals,» the Foreign Office said. «We therefore adviseBritish nationals to leave.
