Indian Parliamentary Delegation visits Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, APRIL 23, SPA -- An eight-member Indian parliamentary delegation has reached Pakistan on a three-day visit aimed at promoting on-going peace process between the two countries and establishing Joint Parliamentarian Forum, officials said. Senior parliamentarian of Rajyia Sabha (Indian Parliament's Upper House), Nirmaladesh Panday leads the delegation. The delegation is comprised of five members from Rajyia Sabha, two from Lok Sabha (Lower House) and two Muslim members from the Indian Held Kashmir. "Peace and friendship between the two countries would bring progress and development in the region. Peace and friendship would resolve problem of unemployment and remove poverty from the region," Nirmaladesh Panday said on arrival.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/443502
