Amman, Mar. 14, SPA -- Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Abul Gheit arrived here today on an official brief visit to Jordan. According to a Jordanian press statement, the talks between Prince Saud, Aboul Gheit and Jordanian officials will focus on the current developments in the Arab arena on the occasion of convening the Arab summit in Riyadh later this month. "The visit came within the framework of existing coordination and consultation among the three countries. The Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II visited Riyadh and Cairo last month in order to revive the peace process in the region and to activate the joint Arab work," the statement added. At the airport, Prince Saud and the Egyptian Foreign Minister were received by Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul-Ilah Al-Khateeb and a number of senior officials.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/432681
