WARSAW, Feb. 7, SPA -- Polish Interior Minister LudwikDorn resigned on Wednesday, the second senior cabinet member toquit this week over differences with conservative Prime MinisterJaroslaw Kaczynski, according to Reuters. The resignation, just two days after the departure of Defence Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, sparked rumours of arealignment of Polish politics and the inclusion of a new partyin the governing three-way coalition. But Kaczynski suggested at a news conference the changewould make little difference to his conservative government. Helater appointed prosecutor general Janusz Kaczmarek as newminister. Kaczmarek is not a member of any political party but hasbeen a leading figure in the government's campaign againstcorruption.
