ISLAMABAD, JAN 14, SPA -- First of the eight P-3C Orion aircraft acquired from the United States will land at the naval base in Karachi on January 18, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir said. The induction of this all-weather aircraft will enhance Navy's reconnaissance, anti-submarine and anti-surface vessel operation capabilities, he said while addressing the Annual Efficiency Competition Parade and Awards Ceremony 2006 of Pakistan Navy Fleet at PN Dockyard Karachi.
