Tel Aviv, Jan 15, SPA -- Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday told the visiting U.S. Secretary of StateCondoleezza Rice that he will attend a three-way meetingwith her and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, an Olmert spokesman said Monday. The spokesman, Jacob Galanti, said no date for the meeting was set, though it will not take place during Rice's current swing through the Middle East, which ends Friday. Galanti also did not know whether the Palestinians have agreed to the meeting, the Associated Press reported. Palestinian officials weren't immediately available forcomment. Olmert met early Monday with Rice, who is in the region in part to try to nudge along sluggish Israeli-Palestinianpeace efforts. --SPA www.spa.gov.sa/418170
