ZARECHNOYE, Kazakhstan, Dec 7 (SPA) - A joint venture between Russia and Kazakhstan produced its first tonne of uranium in Kazakhstan on Thursday in a move that helps Russia secure cheap supplies of the radioactive metal, Reuters reported.
