DHAKA, Feb 4, SPA _ Bangladesh security forces usedemergency powers to detain eight senior politicians andformer government ministers Sunday, news reports and family members of those detained said. The politicians and ex-ministers were picked up from their homes in the capital, Dhaka, early in the morning, theUnited News of Bangladesh news agency and the relativessaid.
