Washington, Dec 9, SPA -- President George W. Bush is set to hold intense discussions with top advisors next week to weigh changes to Iraq strategy that he aims to announce before Christmas, the White House said. Bush will meet top State Department, Defense Department and military officials, as well as U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Zalmay Khalilzad, and outside experts, said Dana Perino, a White House spokeswoman. Perino told reporters that the goal is for Bush to be able to give a speech before Christmas (December 25), but it's not set in stone. Bush has said he will consider recommendations of the Iraq Study Group which proposed a complete overhaul of U.S. policy in Iraq, as well as the results of several internal administration reviews before announcing his decision.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/409772
