SEOUL, Nov 30, SPA -- The United States and SouthKorea failed to reach agreement on sharing costs for theU.S. military's deployment on the peninsula, South Korea's Foreign Ministry said Thursday. The allies have been in talks for several months toreplace an arrangement established a year ago in whichSeoul shares 38 percent of the cost for the U.S. troops,amounting to about US$680 million (¤516 million).
