Beirut, July 23, SPA -- Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs & Emigrants Fawzi Salloukh received here today a telephone from his Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs Syed Hamid bin Syed Jaafar Albar, who reaffirmed the support of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to Lebanon. They also reviewed the result of the Israeli aggression on lebanon. Albar deplored the Israeli aggression and said the OIC, currently chaired by Malaysia, will unwaveringly extend support to Lebanon. Salloukh asked Albar to urge the leaders of the world to put pressure on Israel until the zionist state ends its aggression. Albar informed Salloukh that Malaysia will inform OIC’s secretary general Ekmel-eddin Ihsanoglu to convene a meeting of the OIC’s executive commission to deplore the Israeli aggression and to take the appropriate action in this respect. --SPA 1458 Local Time 1158 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/377617
