BAGDHAD, Iraq, Aug 15, SPA -- Jordan's Prime Minister Marouf al-Bakhit arrived Tuesday on a three-day visit that islikely to focus on border security and Iraqi oil suppliesto Jordan at preferential prices. Al-Bakhit, who is accompanied by six ministers includingenergy, finance and interior, was welcomed by Iraq's PrimeMinister Nouri Al-Maliki, the Associated Press reported. In Baghdad, al-Bakhit will resume talks that were startedduring al-Maliki's July 27 visit to Jordan, Jordaniangovernment spokesman Nasser Judeh told reporters in Amman. «The visit is within the framework of consultations anddiscussions on all issues -- political and economic. Italso seeks to consolidate relations between the twocountries.» He did not elaborate.
