LONDON, AUG 10, SPA -- Passengers were told to empty their pockets and check all baggage Wednesday in response to a suspected plot to blow up trans-Atlantic flights in mid-air. The Department of Transport said passengers traveling from British airports could carry only a clear plastic carrier bag containing a restricted list of items, including: _pocket-sized wallets and purses for money and credit cards _passports and tickets _prescription medicines _glasses and sunglasses, but not their cases _contact lens holders, but not the lens solution _baby formula _ but the contents of each bottle must be tasted by the passenger _tampons and tissues, but not their boxes, according to a report of the Associated Press.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/381960
