Indian official says 'foreign hand' in Mumbai train bombings

MUMBAI, India, Sept 30, SPA -- Indian police have completed their investigation into the July 11 train bombings that killed more than 200 people and found evidence of a «foreign hand» in the attacks, a top official said Saturday. There is strong evidence to suggest that the attackerscame from «across the border,» said the official,Maharashtra (state) Deputy Chief Minister R. R. Patil,adding that he would give more details at a news conferencescheduled for later Saturday.
