ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN, AUG 12, SPA - Pakistan's Foreign Minister Khurshid M. Kasuri will soon proceed to Syria and Lebanon to attend a series of high-level meetings to assess situation arising out of relentless Israeli attacks, officials said. He is part of the Contact Group formed by the Special Meeting of the Executive Committee of the OIC in Putrajaya, Malaysia on August 3. Kasuri will visit Lebanon to show solidarity with the people of Lebanon. The Group will visit Damascus and then proceed to Lebanon. The Foreign Minister will also convey the deep feelings of the government and people of Pakistan about the suffering people of Lebanon. Pakistan since the beginning of the aggression on Lebanon has repeatedly called for a withdrawal of Israeli force and un-conditional ceasefire.
