Paris, July 22, SPA -- French President Jacques Chirac received here Friday for the third time Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General. They reviewed the latest developments at the international arena, notably the continuous Israeli aggressions on Lebanon and the on-going international efforts to end these offensives. Later, Prince Sultan and Chirac signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for defense cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France. A technical supplement for cooperation and military support agreement, signed on 9/10/1982, between Saudi Arabia and France, was also signed. Prince Sultan signed on behalf of the Kingdom, while French Minister of Defense Michele Alliot-Marie signed on behalf of her country. Later Prince Sultan graced the tea party hosted by Chirac in his honor.
