Pakistan, U.S. sign documents to assist law enforcement agencies

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 28, SPA – Pakistan and the United States have signed three documents that provide ongoing assistance to Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies. This will provide $41.2 million to bilateral programmes designed to help strengthen Pakistani law enforcement agencies in their mission to ensure the integrity of Pakistan’s borders, said an official statement. U.S. Charge d’Affaires Peter Bodde and Ahmed Jawad, Additional Secretary, Economic Affairs Division, signed the documents.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/392811
