TOKYO, Sept 11 (SPA) - Japan and South Korea have agreed to conduct a joint survey for radioactive waste in waters between the two countries that have been the subject of a territorial dispute, a senior Japanese diplomat was quoted as saying on Monday, Reuters reported. Kyodo news agency quoted Vice Foreign Minister Shotaro Yachi as telling a news conference that Tokyo and Seoul have agreed to conduct the joint survey in October in six locations including waters around desolate islands claimed by both countries.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/388617
