BEIRUT, JULY 22, SPA -- Israel and Hezbollah fighters resumed their attacks on each other Saturday as their conflict entered an 11th day amid the possibility of a full-scale ground war. With thousands of Israeli troops massed on the Lebanese border, Lebanon’s president is warning that his army would defend the country if Israel launches a full-scale ground invasion. The Israel Defense Forces said it was calling up about 6,000 reservists as reinforcements along the border. Saturday saw new cross-border strikes. Ten people were wounded as about 10 Hezbollah rockets fell on northern Israel on Saturday morning, Israeli ambulance services said. Israeli artillery on Saturday again shelled Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, CNN reported. --SPA 22/07/2006 13:19 ت م www.spa.gov.sa/377327
